This page calculates the Panchangam for Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh from the city's own coordinates and local sunrise, so the Tithi, Vara and timings reflect Vijayawada rather than a single national table. In Telugu usage, Panchang is commonly searched as Panchangam.
Why Panchangam for Vijayawada is a local calculation
Vijayawada sits in Andhra Pradesh at about 16.5074° N, 80.6466° E. Because the Panchangam day opens at sunrise, Vijayawada's own sunrise sets its Vara and decides which Tithi, Nakshatra, Yoga and Karana are in force through the day.
That is why a reading for Vijayawada can differ from another city on the same date. Astrovarg works this page out from Vijayawada's coordinates on the Asia/Kolkata timezone — a local result, not a generic one. For how the five limbs are read, see the complete Panchang guide.
Why does Panchangam for Vijayawada differ from other cities?
It is anchored to Vijayawada's local sunrise. Sunrise reaches Vijayawada at its own clock time, so a Tithi or Nakshatra can move onto a different day than in a city further east or west.
Is this Panchangam based on local sunrise in Vijayawada?
Yes. The page uses Vijayawada's coordinates (16.5074° N, 80.6466° E) and the Asia/Kolkata timezone, and the reading is anchored to the city's own sunrise.
Can I check another date for Vijayawada?
Yes. Change the date in the calculator above and Astrovarg recomputes the Panchangam for Vijayawada on that day.
