This page calculates the Panchang for Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh from the city's own coordinates and local sunrise, so the Tithi, Vara and timings reflect Jabalpur rather than a single national table.
Why Panchang for Jabalpur is a local calculation
Jabalpur sits in Madhya Pradesh at about 23.1670° N, 79.9501° E. Because the Panchang day opens at sunrise, Jabalpur's own sunrise sets its Vara and decides which Tithi, Nakshatra, Yoga and Karana are in force through the day.
That is why a reading for Jabalpur can differ from another city on the same date. Astrovarg works this page out from Jabalpur's coordinates on the Asia/Kolkata timezone — a local result, not a generic one. For how the five limbs are read, see the complete Panchang guide.
Why does Panchang for Jabalpur differ from other cities?
It is anchored to Jabalpur's local sunrise. Sunrise reaches Jabalpur at its own clock time, so a Tithi or Nakshatra can move onto a different day than in a city further east or west.
Is this Panchang based on local sunrise in Jabalpur?
Yes. The page uses Jabalpur's coordinates (23.1670° N, 79.9501° E) and the Asia/Kolkata timezone, and the reading is anchored to the city's own sunrise.
Can I check another date for Jabalpur?
Yes. Change the date in the calculator above and Astrovarg recomputes the Panchang for Jabalpur on that day.
