This page calculates the Panchang for Ludhiana, Punjab from the city's own coordinates and local sunrise, so the Tithi, Vara and timings reflect Ludhiana rather than a single national table.
Why Panchang for Ludhiana is a local calculation
Ludhiana sits in Punjab at about 30.9120° N, 75.8538° E. Because the Panchang day opens at sunrise, Ludhiana's own sunrise sets its Vara and decides which Tithi, Nakshatra, Yoga and Karana are in force through the day.
That is why a reading for Ludhiana can differ from another city on the same date. Astrovarg works this page out from Ludhiana's coordinates on the Asia/Kolkata timezone — a local result, not a generic one. For how the five limbs are read, see the complete Panchang guide.
Why does Panchang for Ludhiana differ from other cities?
It is anchored to Ludhiana's local sunrise. Sunrise reaches Ludhiana at its own clock time, so a Tithi or Nakshatra can move onto a different day than in a city further east or west.
Is this Panchang based on local sunrise in Ludhiana?
Yes. The page uses Ludhiana's coordinates (30.9120° N, 75.8538° E) and the Asia/Kolkata timezone, and the reading is anchored to the city's own sunrise.
Can I check another date for Ludhiana?
Yes. Change the date in the calculator above and Astrovarg recomputes the Panchang for Ludhiana on that day.
