Ashtakavarga scores every sign of your chart out of eight. Each of the seven grahas gets its own Bhinnashtakavarga table, built from eight contributors — the seven grahas and the Lagna — and the Sarvashtakavarga is the sign-wise sum of those seven, always totalling 337 bindus. Astrovarg computes all of them from your birth details and reports the Lagna’s contribution beside them rather than as an eighth table.
